PLAYBOY MODEL AND PHYSICIAN HUSBAND 'SWINGERS' ON THE INTERNET

I am writing today because I hope that my story will help those who are battling with prescription drug addiction and alcoholism. You see, I am a former Playboy model. I am also an alcoholic/addict who celebrated two years of sobriety on February 1, 2010.

My life as an addict really began during my marriage. (I am married to an admitted sex addict).

My husband, an M.D., prescribed powerful psychotropic drugs to me - hundreds at a time - throughout our entire eight year marriage. (We are in the process of getting a divorce).

His addiction to sex led him down a dangerous path - he posted photos of his genitals on the internet. He also took explicit nude photos of me and posted them on the internet. I was 'bait.' I had sex with various men. He then had sex with multiple women in exchange. We were 'Swingers.' My husband took me to sex clubs and we hosted sex parties at our home in Phoenix, Arizona. Of course, I was drugged and drunk.

My husband was seeing a sex addiction counselor. He was also attending 12-Step meetings for sex addicts. Sadly, he has QUIT all treatment.

I have been a client of SHELTER WITHOUT WALLS for almost two years now. (Shelter Without Walls is a program for survivors of domestic violence located in Arizona). The Director of Shelter Without Walls and my domestic violence advocate have been working with me to help heal years of abuse.

I am writing a book about my experiences, "Sex, Lies and Swinging." I will use the proceeds to help fund 'Safe Houses' for women who are escaping abusive relationships. I've also started working on a tv pilot - a comedy. I believe laughter is a wonderful way to heal from terrible hurt.
